Content Research Internship

Type: Internship (15-20 hrs/week)

About Ridley

Ridley is on a mission to eliminate the $100B homeowners lose each year to real estate commissions. We're building the first AI-powered home-selling platform that empowers homeowners to sell without real estate agents, replacing outdated systems and middlemen with smarter, more transparent tools.

With strong early traction and backing from top investors, we’re creating a radically better home-selling experience — and content is a core part of how we educate consumers and shape narrative.

The Role

We’re hiring Content Research Interns to support Ridley’s content team with research, analysis, and idea development.

This is a behind-the-scenes role focused on understanding the real estate landscape, identifying important topics and narratives, and translating complex information into clear, usable insights for content creation.

This role is not on-camera, not community management, and not posting-focused.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your strengths, you’ll take on one or more of the following:

Content Research

  • Research real estate topics, market dynamics, and industry practices
  • Summarize complex concepts into clear, structured briefs
  • Identify data points, examples, and framing that strengthen content credibility

Script & Idea Development

  • Turn research into outlines, hooks, and draft scripts for short-form content
  • Help structure founder-led content with clear logic and flow
  • Develop content ideas rooted in consumer education and clarity

Trend & Topic Mapping

  • Track major housing, real estate, and consumer finance conversations
  • Identify emerging topics worth explaining or reacting to
  • Surface opportunities for Ridley to lead with clear, educational content

What You Bring

  • Strong research and synthesis skills
  • Clear, concise writing ability
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfort going deep on unfamiliar topics
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Interest in consumer education, media, or technology
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Bonus Points

  • Background in journalism, research, economics, policy, or storytelling
  • Experience turning research into explainers or educational content
  • Interest in real estate, housing, or consumer finance
  • Familiarity with Notion, Google Docs, or research workflows
